NIKON LAUNCHES THREE NEW RANGEFINDERS TO TAKE YOUR GOLF GAME TO THE NEXT LEVEL

Amsterdam, The Netherlands, 5th August 2021: Nikon has today announced the release of three new laser rangefinders; the COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED, the COOLSHOT LITE STABILIZED and the COOLSHOT 50i. Designed for golfers, they feature new, innovative, technology that offers an uncompromised, calm and steady view of the course, thanks to Nikon’s high-end optics.

Nikon’s most advanced rangefinder yet, The COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED inherits the stabilising technology from its predecessor, the COOLSHOT PRO STABILIZED, a product which has received outstanding user reviews. The rangefinder, which can measure up to 450 metres (500 yards) steadies your view and the ranging laser by counteracting hand shake and environmental factors, ensuring you get a clear and accurate view of the course. Its DUAL LOCKED ON ECHO technology notifies you that the distance to the flagstick has been measured and helps you target the pin accurately, giving you a visual and aural cue when ‘locked on’.

The COOLSHOT PROII STABILIZED employs four measurement display modes, including a Golf mode, which provides a slope adjusted distance – crucial for uphill and downhill shots. Alternatively, select actual distance mode and the Actual Distance Indicator will signal compliance for competitive play. The lightweight and waterproof rangefinder can be used in any conditions.

The COOLSHOT LITE STABILIZED, which can also measure up to 450 metres (500 yards), uses stabilising technology which reduces vibration caused by hand movement by approximately 80 per cent, ensuring a clear view of the terrain. The rangefinder features LOCKED ON technology, with a visual cue informing you of the distance to the closest subject. It employs two measurement display modes: a Golf mode (slope adjusted distance and actual distance) and an Actual Distance mode. The rainproof rangefinder can be used in wet weather and can withstand a wide range of temperatures.

The third rangefinder to be introduced is the COOLSHOT 50i, which can measure up to 360 metres (400 yards). Designed for ease, this is Nikon’s first rangefinder with a built-in mounting magnet, meaning it can easily be connected to your golf bag or golf cart. Its DUAL LOCKED ON QUAKE function informs you that the distance to the flagstick has been measured with a visual cue and brief vibration. The COOLSHOT 50i employs the same two measurement modes as the COOLSHOT LITE STABILIZED: a Golf mode (slope adjusted distance and actual distance) and an Actual Distance mode, both helping you take the most accurate shot. The rangefinder is also rainproof, so can be used in wet conditions.
